Last weekend my friend and I decided to spend a day in town. We could not have had better weather to do so! (Well I guess I would have taken slightly warmer temperatures) But it was such a nice day! We spent the day walking through the Boston Commons and then through the Public Gardens, taking in the warm sun and enjoying some ice coffees. We meandered our way over to Newbury Street and had a late lunch at The Met Bar. We got to sit outside, which is a few steps down from the sidewalk, so it was toasty warm in the sun, and I would highly recommend trying it out! Saturday outings are slowly becoming my new favorite thing to do. This outfit was the perfect combination of spring colors, layers, and casual-ness for a Saturday spent walking, eating and drinking. While these pale pink and white striped pants are super old from Forever 21, the ones I linked are now on sale! A big thanks to my talented, beautiful, and wonderful photographer <3

This fall I found one of the best, cutest, somewhat local boutiques. It is based out of Newport, Rhode Island, which if you are ever in New England, definitely take the time out for a visit. Pink Pineapple Shop has everything from towels, to unique jewelry, to this absolutely amazing sweater! The scarf pictured is actually from there as well, but no longer available. The minute I saw this sweater, I knew it belonged in my closet. As you will find, I have an addiction to all shades of white, so my cream sweater stock, is slightly out of hand, but this is definitely one of my favorites. Even though this day the wind was a bit excessive (note the sarcasm, I thought I might blow away), I did love how the sweater carried. It is one size fits all, so its loose cozy fit is bound to look cute on everyone. So hurry while it's still available! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! Easter is actually one of my favorite holidays. It is even up there with Christmas Eve. My family's tradition is a big Easter brunch after Mass, and since breakfast is my most favorite meal, Easter is up there in my book. As a child my mother always had all five of us in such cute/funny Easter outfits (girls' outfits were always complete with a good Easter bonnet). This year, we unfortunately did not get the warmest Easter Sunday. Though the sun was out in the morning, so I cannot really complain. I first saw this dress on Poor Little It Girl and as a lover of all things striped, it immediately caught my eye. I have yet to buy a matching separates outfit, and I loved that this dress gave the allusion of being separates, but remained one piece. Not so long after seeing the dress on ASOS , I found that Forever 21 had a nearly identical striped dress, seen here! I loved how Cathy styled her ASOS version of the dress; with bare legs and nude, strappy heels. However; the Boston weather did not suite that pretty, spring look, so I went with my navy tights and nude bow flats instead.  I always like to add some bright colors to my outfits, especially in the spring and even more so on Easter! This coat is just the best. It is not too heavy, but still warm, not to mention the color is so fun! This coat is also still on SALE.
